Spacious, modern and inviting

Test pilot No. 4 completed her overnight visit to Stand47…

South African journalist and writer for Business Times and Home Front, Lisa Dewberry, spent a weeknight at Stand 47 to provide us with her WinterTest feedback. With her experience in the business of sound residential property investment, we thought it would be good to get Stand 47 scrutinized by her. How does Stand 47 measure up and how did she feel inside it compared to a traditional brick building? If you are interested in discovering how Stand 47 feels yourself, apply to spend an all-expenses-paid night in this extraordinary Highveld home in exchange for your #WinterTest feedback.

Stand 47 : What was your first impression of the house and did anything specific catch your attention?

Lisa : I was impressed by the house from the moment I first saw it, and overall it exceeded my expectations. The details in the home, like the heart-shaped stepping stone outside caught my eye. I was also impressed by the spacious and modern interior design of the home that was both inviting and cosy.

Stand 47 : How does the real thing compare with your expectations?

Lisa : Nice…above expectation.

Stand 47 : Tell us about a night at Stand 47. Give us details!

Lisa : At 10 PM, there was a 10 degree difference between the indoor temperature and the chilly Winter night outside. I’m impressed that the home feels so warm. Usually I’d be wrapped in a blanket at this time, but I don’t need one at this home. It’s great! I feel so lovely and warm. The home is cosy, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing – I could easily relax and unwind in a home like this and be quite productive working in such a quiet environment away from the buzz of the city.

Stand 47 : What is your opinion of the home next morning?

Lisa : I slept better than expected in the nice and quiet environment of Stand 47, and when I woke up the temperature was just right.

Stand 47: Could you describe your favourite aspect of the home?

Lisa : I enjoyed the peace and quiet and spaciousness of the home… and that I always felt content, warmth wise.

Stand 47: And finally, we have to know, would you live here?

Lisa : Yes. I think I could live here. It is surprisingly quieter than a traditional home and I had a high overall comfort experience. This experience has positively influenced my opinion of what it means to live in a home that is not built with bricks. This home is spacious, modern and inviting.
